Description

All cards are handmade using images of artwork. They are 4″ x 6″ and come with a A6 envelope. Each card is blank to be suited for any occasion. An individual card is $5 (+ $3 shipping for the package), or you can purchase your own mix-and—match selection for a discount.

In Minnesota, one of the earliest signs that spring is coming to stay (and it’s not one first few warm days of a “false spring”) is when the restaurant and café patio furniture starts appearing. Sitting outside enjoying a beverage or a sweet treat is the perfect accompaniment to people-watching the bustling street, commenting about how each dog that trots by is the cutest one you have ever seen, and basking in the warm sunshine that makes the scene glow in contented commotion.

This artwork was made with 66 colors of embroidery floss. Individual pieces were glued to the background surface one by one and pushed into place with tiny scissors and an X-acto knife.
