All cards are handmade using images of artwork. They are 4″ x 6″ and come with a A6 envelope. Each card is blank to be suited for any occasion. An individual card is $5 (+ $3 shipping for the package), or you can purchase your own mix-and-match selection for a discount.

My great-great-grandmother, Fanny Y. Cory, was an artist. She was one of the first female cartoonists in America, and she was an illustrator and painter. I am part of a long lineage of artists and wanted to honor this history by doing a study of one of her paintings that she created later in life. I associate pink roses with my grandmother (her granddaughter) and thought this was a fitting piece to do a study of.

This artwork was made with 60 colors of embroidery floss. Individual pieces were glued to the background surface one by one and pushed into place with tiny scissors and a toothpick.
