Description

All cards are handmade using images of artwork. They are 4″ x 6″ and come with a A6 envelope. Each card is blank to be suited for any occasion. An individual card is $5 (+ $3 shipping for the package), or you can purchase your own mix-and-match selection for a discount.

I am not a gardener. I am also incapable of keeping plants alive. Would I love beautiful flower beds and a home full of greenery? I sure would! Has my husband bought me multiple little succulents for my art studio only for them to die shortly after? Yes! While I have basically given up on having a green thumb, I will instead focus on capturing these plants in string. I love identifying all of the different colors present in an individual succulent and blending them together. These plants may look green, but there are often pinks, blues, and purples present as well.

This artwork was made with 32 colors of embroidery floss. Individual pieces were glued to the background surface one by one and pushed into place with tiny scissors and a toothpick.
