Description

All cards are handmade using images of artwork. They are 4″ x 6″ and come with a A6 envelope. Each card is blank to be suited for any occasion. An individual card is $5 (+ $3 shipping for the package), or you can purchase your own mix-and-match selection for a discount.

Most of my artwork uses nature as the main subject because that is typically what inspires me. But one day, I was on a walk around a lake near my home and was struck by the stone used to build a small bridge along the way. The lines of embroidery floss were perfect for showing the dimensions and texture of the stonework.

This artwork was made with 48 colors of embroidery floss. Individual pieces were glued to the background surface one by one and pushed into place with tiny scissors and an X-acto knife.
