When my husband and I bought our house in 2017, we knew there was a park very close but it wasn’t something we paid much attention to. I didn’t know then that I would spend a lot of time walking around the lake at that park with my dog and that just about every view from the path would end up in my art over the years.
While the park is small, tucked between two freeways, and has planes flying so close in the sky you can practically touch them, my lake is a pocket of serenity. So with my art, you can join me on the walk around my lake through different seasons and many years.
