“Overgrown” paper prints are available in one size – 8″ x 10″ ($20 + $3 shipping). These prints are created on archival textured fine art paper with archival inks that should last 100 years with proper care.

This piece was inspired by a scene that I stumbled on outside of one of those fancy homes on a luxury home tour. It is not uncommon for a new multi-million dollar home to be plunked in the middle of a wooded field that hasn’t been developed yet. I enjoyed this beautiful little untamed landscape that was steps from a meticulously crafted mansion.

This artwork was made with 71 colors of embroidery floss. Individual pieces were glued to the background surface one by one and pushed into place with tiny scissors and an X-acto knife.
